McCall is 7 months

He started scoot/crawling just after 6 months old. He is our little vacuum!

He loves food. He will eat almost anything I give him. It's so nice to have a good eater.

Helping in Moore, OK

Monte and I had the opportunity to be "Mormon Helping Hands" in Moore not long after the tornado came through. We actually helped on a Sunday. My parents ward met for an hour and it was "come in your work pants" I've never experienced anything like it. The devastation from the tornado is indescribable. The pictures just do not give justice to what you see first-hand. We (volunteers from 2 wards) helped out this part member family clear some tree damage on their acreage.

New Couches!!

I love our new couches. Before we got them we would hang out down in our room at night watching TV. Now that our old love seat is down there we Only go in our room to go to bed :) Monte loves taking Sunday afternoon naps on the couch. We both enjoy having the recliners and lots of space for company!

We have been to the ZOO four times this year!

I don't know where to start!!!

Adjusting to life with 4 kids at home has been somewhat of a challenge. Our summer has been full of craziness and also some laziness!! Crazy with kids and lazy with family :)  My mom has been here a lot this summer and its fun to see them and swim at the apartment. We have had fun so far this summer with Alex and Stephenie (and baby Sofia), Judson, Marena, Dennis Perry's family and our new friends in our ward, the Morgans, with lots of kids to play with!

I have been wanting to post for so long but there have been so many things that have happened between now and when I last posted that the task felt too overwhelming!! I think what I will do is highlight some things and just post lots of pictures with short captions. 

Here is the most recent picture of the girls. They are painting the "con-creek" (as Makayla would say it) with homemade chalk paint :)

McCall at 12 weeks

I can hardly believe McCall is 12 weeks old. Sometimes I feel like we have always had our little brother and other times I look at him and cannot believe he is still my little tiny baby.

Little Cowboy

McCall is doing great. He weighed 13.11 lbs at his checkup last week. He is a happy smiling baby. He just recently started laughing and its so fun to talk and play with him to get him to laugh.

McCall's Blessing Day

We were so happy that Grandma and Grandpa Johnson as well as Granny, Grandpa and Judy could all fly in from Idaho for McCalls blessing. My parents and siblings still at home (Brookeylnn, Isaac, and Emma) were all here too. McCall looked so handsome in his taylored white tux and Monte gave him a wonderful blessing. We enjoyed a great day all together. Thanks to everyone that came!!

2 months today

McCall is 2 months old today. He is getting so big. He is already over 12 pounds. He is such a cutie. It's so fun to finally have a little boy :)
This morning Makayla helped me finish taking down the wall paper in the bathroom while McCall and Mia napped. It snowed today and they canceled school at noon. There was enough snow that Mindy and Makayla got to make a snowman with Monte. They were so cold but had lots of fun! Mindy has a snow day tomorrow too. Poor Mia woke up from her nap with a fever and later threw up. So for the rest of the day she got to rest in her bed and watch movies. Hopefully we won't all get what she has!
