Last Tuesday morning Mindy was asking me questions about the temple. She asked some questions like what color it is and was talking about getting married in the temple. I did not have anything particularly planned that day so, I decided to take the girls to the temple. It was a beautiful experience. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and in full bloom. It was extremely hot outside so we didn't stay out there for long. When we were in the front looking at the flowers the gardener came up and gave us a flower and said it was a one day lilly so it would only bloom for that one day and then die so he thought we would enjoy it. It was so sweet and thoughtful. We also went inside and Aunt Judy gave Mindy her own picture of the temple and a temple coloring page. She sang "I love to see the temple" several times in the waiting area and all of the "grandmas and grandpas" were smiling at her. It was such a sweet experience. I'm so happy we had the opportunity to go and enjoy such a special blessing Heavenly Father has given us. The Boise Temple will always have a special place in my heart.
"Charity is having patience with someone who has let us down. It is resisting the impulse to become offended easily. It is accepting weaknesses and shortcomings. It is accepting people as they truly are. It is looking beyond physical appearances to attributes that will not dim through time. It is resisting the impulse to categorize others."

I grew up in Middleton, ID and am the oldest of 7 kids. I played soccer in high school and also did stats for the boys basketball team. I enjoyed stake dances, dating, and making cookies.
Monte searved a full time mission in the Canada, Calgary Mission. After only being home for a few weeks from his mission my laurel teacher (his sister-in-law) introduced us at church. We dated for a couple of months and were engaged a week after I graduated. We have been married for 7 years. We just added our 4 child-a boy: McCall Bronco. Life is a little more crazy with four-defiantly an adjustment! We live in Kansas in a bi level house on 3 acres. We love being out in the counrty again. Monte manages a pest control business for my dad. It keeps him busy...especially when he sells in the summertime. We live just over 2 hours from my parents and are enjoying life here in the Midwest.
