Hershey died today from the heat. Nini wanted to see a picture of her and Hershey together. This picture is on Monte's birthday almost 1 year ago. She has been a good family dog and mother to her puppies. She will be missed. It has been so hot here. The dogs have had a rough summer.

Oh no! That's so sad! I will always remember Hershey for teaching me about being yourself, even if you have puppies. She didn't define herself by her motherhood. She was Hershey first, mom second. We should all be like that. Minus the drooling and other doggy behaviors.
